S24(7) Build 3470 - RC 2

 

Well hello there!

S24(7) has received an update, addressing several long‑standing annoyances and bringing everything back in sync with 2026.3 as of June 14th.

It’s also worth noting that SourceForge downloads can occasionally be a little slow. To make life easier, I’ve added GitHub as an alternative location for both the source code and the latest binary release. However — and this is important — GitHub repositories can be freely cloned or forked by anyone. That means someone could mirror the project, modify it, or redistribute altered binaries under the same project name.

Because of that, always verify the digital signature on the installer before trusting it. If the installer is not digitally signed by me, it is not authentic. A valid digital signature ensures:

• the file genuinely came from me

• the file has not been tampered with

• the binary you’re installing is exactly the one I released

If the signature is missing or invalid, treat the file as untrusted.

Enjoy the final Release Candidate — and if everything behaves, the full release should follow in a few weeks.
